This is a vision quest. Go Shopping.

Don’t know what you want? Feeling stuck on creating your next dream? The next stage of your life? The next season on the calendar? The next project at your workplace? Go shopping to get the picture.

Let go of efforting. Let go of thinking about it. Take the day off and go shopping. Your instincts will know what you need. A ride past beautiful homes for landscape and planting ideas. A trip to the mall to let your mind wander. Fitness shops for a vision of the new athletic you. Absorb the vibe of people into fitness. Buy some new gear or get an idea of what you want. Try thrift shops, garage sales, craigslist or search online shops later for a deal. Shop expensive stores to capture a feeling of elegance, go to farmers markets to get inspired for health and energy, visit beautiful furniture stores to cultivate ideas for styling your home.

Go to the makeup counter and play if you need a new “look” to inspire your new journey. Shopping inspires new ideas, lifts energy and stimulates motivation.

Let go of your agenda and just browse. Let go of what you think you need. Be open to what you see. Notice what uplifts and energizes.

Get something. Get some token of the new energy you want to create in your world. A candle, a hat, a new lipstick, a tee shirt, a plant, a notepad, a magazine. Buy a novel of a hero or heroine akin to your life circumstances. Read how they create anew and reshape their life. Or write the story of your own character!! Get something that marks the beginning of your new, refreshed lifestyle or project.or journey; a talisman of the new.

Shop for what you want, as if you have NO financial restrictions. Build the blueprint of your life. Get the feeling of what you want. Find the motivation. Bring some token of the new back with you. Create the picture, then copy it as best you can. Keep it simple at first.

Make a list of what you saw that inspired you. A white, shiny Rolls Royce? A cottage with tumbling roses down a country road? A gal with long, dark shiny hair, a pair of great tortoise shell sunglasses, jeans and a white shirt? A brand new bike or kayak?. A waitress at the cafe who is writing her novel on the side?

How can you bring those elements into your life?? Let the vision inspire you, even if seems out of your price range at present. Keep dreaming and visualizing, but bring the elements of that dream into your life now. Create the picture. Let your next car purchase be white and shiny with classic looks. OR clean your present car inside and out. Take out the junk. Put the excess items into a simple box in the trunk. Fill your car with the simple items you require. Go to the auto shop for accessories that would “outfit” you. Create luxury inside. Clean and comfortable upholstery. Some good tunes. Then YOU with your tortoise shell sunglasses and that attitude of confidence and energy!!

Declutter your home. Plant some roses on a fence or pick a spot for a small flower or veggie garden that you create like the one you saw at the quaint flower nursery in the country.

Buy some fabulous tortoise shell sun glasses and a new white shirt to go with your jeans. It doesn’t take much to create the new you, the refreshed you, the newly motivated you. Do you have some comfortable classy sandals or boots to go along? Can't afford them? Try Goodwill, Thrift Shops or TJ Max. Visualize what you want. Talk it up...(I'm looking for a great pair of classic sandals)...and someone might just have a pair that was too small!!

Go shopping. Get inspired. Make a list. Activate.

Let your spree fill you with good vibes. Pick some area of your life that you would like to revamp and then bring the elements of what you saw into your world. YOU are the artist. Create your new improved world, whether totally revamped or with just a fresh, new sparkle. Go for it and LIVE OUT LOUD!
